I finished the home made rear facing vent for the 56, future ones will be slightly taller as this one just clears the reinforcing rib beside it. Larger engine will require even taller ones. Living and learning. It's a shame it's lightly discolored, I bought it from a retired Dentist in Maine, the box got damp in his basement, the innards are perfect.

I have one of those 110 Rascals I haven't even started on.

I've got a couple of grungies like that Dave, they're covered by cowls and run great. 56's are such nice runners.

What engine is slated for your Rascal 110?

Is everyone's club alive and well? Our club is like a graveyard. Went out there this evening, nobody around so I flew for a couple of hours and listened to cars go by. Nobody stopped by. Pretty boring, might as well have stayed home and flown in the pasture. I guess it's time to find another club.

Most likely the 180 Crunch passed on to me, it runs nice and smooth and is quick revving.

Oh yeah, that big boy will getr dun. I'm seriously impressed with my 180, it swings an apc 16x8 at 9400 peak on 15%. It's a real hoss and vibrates less than I anticipated. Now if I just had something to mount it on.

Not to mention the cost of a CH CDI conversion.

Oh, and the cost of a divorce and wedding ceremony.

You can get a 4*120. Modestly priced, servos are a little better than standard which are modestly priced, Saito 180 runs awesome without CH ignition, so you might have 300 bucks in the airplane not too shabby

She could opt for a Sicilian Divorce, she gets a new black dress and everything else and he gets his own tastefully decorated single room subterranean apartment 6 feet deep!

FG-30 run even better!

I used Hitec 645MG in the 4*120. Good strong metal geared servos. $31 each.

No, I mean like a Premenopausal, Suicidal, struggle to get the gun from her hand kinda thing. I fear to think how bad that could have turned out. That was almost 20 yrs ago. All good now.....well, not really but that's another story.

Thank goodness you've got that monster starter, I've heard those super high compression 45's can be a real challenge to start.

What airplane is that? Looks fast.

For his big engines he jacks up his truck and runs the spinner against a running tire. Go big or go home is what he says.
