MLJ3 no longer needs to order the throttle arm offset, I made one.

Not beautiful but it fits precisely and it works.

Considering once its in the airplane and no one will see it any way I think it looks fine.

Not my cup of tea jim but i like the saito powered models being flown that you post for everyone here, it can also act as an incentive to finish what you are building and get it flown. The hellcat to me is not real pretty but the guy flying the fa150 powered hellcat in your vid is very good and it's a pleasure to watch him flying it. Looks aside the hellcat ( and corsair ) was the perfect aeroplane for carrier work during ww2 in the pacific.

I was watching a old episode of Counting Cars the other day and in it was a T bucket with twin engines and 4 super chargers! It was impressive but a little hard for the driver to see over.

Looking forward to picking one of those up. A natural for the Sennior Kadet, after restoring it to methanol fuel. Ordering one today!

Got it Saturday! Wow, thats a lot of parts. I can find a use for all of it for sure. Thanks again.

Well, my first attempt using what I have. Unfortunately the tubing is too soft and wrinkles easily, so not sure how long it would last, an the thick wall tubing did not live up to what it was described as, I may try getting some 1/4" tubing instead and see what I can do. Not sure yet how I will set up the cowling. It is almost the look I want, but a bit too large.

Wondered why all was so quiet here. Went to "old mail" and clicked on most recent Saito forum listing, then attempted to again subscribe. Went thru a lot of "stuff" before I got here. Hope this takes care of whatever the issue was. By the way, . . . Good Luck to all in this New Year

Hi all, I just found this club. I currently have 5 Saitos and will probably be adding more.

FA 30S-H in a Sig 4Star20
FA 100 in a Sig 4Star60
FA 100 slated for a Tiger 60
FA 62a in a Telemaster Deluxe 40
FA 182 TD to go in a Sig 1/4 scale clipped wing Cub I am currently building

Welcome to the thread Tmaxx, very nice planes and a wonderful Saito collection you have there. Have you started the 182TD yet? They sound awesome!

Bruce you could always spray the pipes matt black and then make a decision, they look better that way.

Welcome tmaxx glad to see you putting the fa182 td in the sig 1/4 scale cub. if you are wondering about performance i can help, don't. I have an 83" h9 taylorcraft of the same flying weight running an fa182td spinning a mas classic 18x6@9000 it's happy to go vertical after half of the 24oz tank is gone. Even fully fuelled and rich it has way more than scale power for aerobatics and does beautiful TALL loops. Good luck.

ps i've seen a person i know try and mount the fa182td carbs upwards in a h9 taylorcraft ( don't ask me why ) which looks weird and lowers the prop shaft drive line, makes the whole model look awful.

Here's a welcome from Virginia, you've got me wondering how my 182 would work on a Sig Rascal 110.

No, I haven't started it yet. I hope to have the plane finished this year and will break in the engine this summer.
