Gary, give me a week and I will see if we can have a QSO on 20 meter. I've been working a lot at my part time job with CNC lathes so my day starts very early in the morning. I'm hoping to get some free time off of work so I can play with my toys.

Pedro

OK, how would I have to talk, I could trade a 65, an FA 40-a or a little 30. Money would be a bit slower but doable. Thanks

PS, I also have an extra 50.

Many thanks, Dave
The 56 will go on a Sig LT 40.

Those two planes on the bones above look great.

Vermont has NEVER been this humid in all my life, but now these last 6, 7 years it's become worse. I dislike it big time. sO just remember, wipe down your cats LOL

Jim, here is the 100 GK you'll be receiving, it's new but broken in. I had it for sale for nearly three weeks, no one even asked a question.

That's a very nice engine Dave.

Jim, it ain't no 91, much more torque and wil swing bigger props. 15x6 for slow flying with lots of thrust, 14x8 for sport flying, 14x9 or 14x10 for more giddy up. Quite diverse between those props. Should be an excellent engine for your 4*60/54, loved it on mine with a 14x8. That's a plane I regret selling but the buyer really needed a low wing trainer so I let it go.

gee Dave, brand new. I figured it would be rebuilt. I should throw in some money, sending me the beuatful100 GK, is going to make me to rethink what engine go's in what plane LOL LOL
I'm thinking now to put the silver 100 in the M-Mustang and the GK in the Tower's 70" Ryan.
I will try my hardest to get the 150 out tomorrow (Thursday)

Lonnie, I have one 100 already for my VQ P-40, but I'm not sure I am going to finish it cause I really disliked how my smaller 50 size P-40 flew, but I did rebalance it and readjusted the radio settings and linkage, so I have to fly it to see if it flies better before I make up my mind about the VQ

you guys are better than brothers !!

My bad Jim, thought you were looking for a 91 for your 4 Star 60/54 and decided to go with Dave's 100. Oops

The GK 100 has a couple of tiny marks on the prop driver where I mounted a CH Ignition. It has roughly one hour of run time. It has, no turn with the fingers, compression. The plain 100 I'm keeping has new bearings and gaskets and will end up on a BTE Flyin King.

Pedro is fixing me up with a 56.

Plain Jane 100 running.

Lonnie, I am looking for a 91 cylinder for my M-Mustang, and I still need a 91 cylinder. I PM'ed Capt a few days ago and he said he will look to see if he has one, and he will get back to me. but now I have Dave's 100 coming for the Mustang.

Jim

Sorry I fidn't realize you were looking. Sold a 91 that had a bad drive HUB but great compression for pretty cheap a few weeks ago. Keeping an eye ot for one in the mean time.

Dave, I forgot to give you my address. but then I figured you must have kept it.

Garry, that 91 engine you posted was snagged quickly. I would have bought it if I saw it first.

guys, this is the plane that I took the Saito 130T out of and sent to Dave. and that was after the plane raced around the world. they made a movie about the race.
see the tiers spinning, they are travelling faster than the plane's airspeed

Jim, it's good that I didn't jump in and send the plain jane 100. When I took it out of the box yesterday the blue mechanics towel was oily, I had messed up and installed a shielded front bearing, that is now cured with a Boca ZZ.

That FA-130T was just about perfect for that plane, quite a bit larger than the Dragolady mine was on

Almost looked real, nice job Jim!

I had no reason to think you did. Still a nice job.

Dragonladys are nice ARFs but like most ARFs they just get assembled after purchase. Mo surprise there.
LOL

There is little chance of it loosening itself now. Thanks again Esmithga for this amazing tip. Now I fully expect this engine to be back in service for a very long time.

Hello Lonnie,
The little 90 is working pretty hard at that! This plane appears to have been flown very little. May have been powered by a 100 at one point. Seems to have some fuel draw issues so it has been set aside for sorting out later on. I was sending that as an update for Hyjinx, he had seen that plane in person at Dave's shop, with many others, covered in balsa dust.

The Saito 91 turned out to be a bit rough on the edges. I re-sold it with a more accurate description at a bit of a loss. Picked up a nice 100 from local friend to use on that intended project.

I got em, thanks, the glow plug in the 56 looks like a Taipan Hot plug.

Hot plug in the rear. Taipans were nicely coded for their heat range. You must have some Australian connections.

Dave, I think the plug is a Fireball hot plug. I have a card of them and have had good luck running them in FS engines.

Ok Guys, Bias aside, which will pull the Ultimate Bipe better, the OS Gemini 120 or a Saito 91? I am putting the parts together for it before I tear into it to make repairs, and will get it back together after I finish with the CARF install.
