Well one thing for sure, that wood will never rot, way too much oil in it.

It has been tortured by engines since October of 2005, the oak board supporting the PSP is coated with 3 hour Epoxy @ 50/50 with 99% pure alcohol. It has never been effected by any kind of exhaust.

Thankyou much, I won't be doing a lot of hobby, "stuff" for a while, as I stated on the phone, Geri broke her back and is in agony. That makes me the chief cook and bottle washer for a while. When she sleeps and our daughter in law can watch her I can play a little. in the mean time I'll keep in touch.

Dude, why did you overwork her! Worked her so hard she broke her back. All kidding aside, take care of her so she will get better soon.

To quote an old saying that is meant to be humorous, but not in this case, "she hurts all over more than anyplace else"

I can't even help her get up, when I need to move her or adjust her for comfort I have to have something under her her that I can pull on.

OK Dave,
You are all set then Give my regards to Geri. I know that pain well. Torn rotator cup and fractured vertebrae at the same time when a ladder broke out from under me 25 years ago. Still feeling that to this day. Gave up boxing altogether as the vertebrae was directly between the shoulders.
In Geri's case, being at the base of the spine, that area carries a larger load so pretty bad spot.

Still looking for the 45 Special. Found several regular 45s but not yet the Special. Got quite a few in line for that one too!

I know what back pain is like in BOTH areas! I have deterioration in the T6 through T8 area which causes spasms under my ribcage on the right, as well as pinched nerves if I move wrong, and arthritis at the L4-L5 of the spine that occasionally causes a sharp excruciating pain causing my legs to give out. It happened once while I was kneeled down starting one of my planes and damn near fell over the spinning prop. Worse part is NOTHING I take stops the pain, not even Opioids. I feel her pain, truthfully

Dave, sorry to hear about Geri. I too have had back problems over the years. if you come to know just where the problem is you can search YT to find ways to strengthen the area to relive pain.

Thanks all for the kind remarks, she had a good night and slept all night, she can sit up by herself today, without any help.

Ditto Dave
 Godspeed her recovery. Alum also.
Three L5 S1 procedures from a tow truck running me down on a sportster. Then fractured two cervic' s and torn right rotator falling backward carrying my aged blind pug in from his duty on the side of the hill behind the house a bunch of winters ago. Lucky for Chomlie he was cradled in my arms and I didn't crush him in the fall and subsequent slide down the hill. No sled required. I used my outstretched right arm backward extended.
I got the drug cocktail during the surgery s but I couldn't allow the opiates afterward. Wrong personality type for that to be help. Hopefully she gets back quick
Love on her extra good, that is the best painkiller. Acts of service is the healing balm. Respect Sir. God on you, and best to her.

Thankyou sir, she's in a much better frame of mind this AM, though it's early, we're supposed to have 60 mph winds today, that's always fun.

Gary, those look like 25 mm carb bolts with unthreaded shoulders, I do that too.

For anyone considering an RMJ piston ring, April is Bjorn Baal's birthday month, he offering a 10% discount for purchases in April.

Good deal,

I found that parts pile in the bottom of a box at an estate sale. I went thru and did a little sorting. Looks like most everything is there save for the cylinder.

I think that Crunch is fixing me up with a cylinder, so it won't be long.
