Geri was in the Dahlgren Urgent Care Facility for about 3 hours, not from waiting though. They did a team effort and ganged up on her, in a good way, she came home with 5 med's and instructions to stay in bed but walk around the house for 15 minutes every hour. Thankyou for your hopes and prayers.
I did get to run the (66) for about 25 minutes, not long enough though.
Saito 62 with FG 11 cylinder, .66 cu. in.
Fuel===Wildcat 10% full synthetic
Plug ===Glo-Devil 4c special for Enya and Saito
Exhaust==Saito straight exhaust stub and revised muffler
Prop=====Xoar 13 x 6
RPM====9,840 with bursts to 9,950, one click leaner, after 25 minutes at 4,000 for 10 minutes and then various speeds for 15 minutes.
Idle rpm==1,700 for 3 minutes
These are the numbers for one of my 65's: Saito .65-N Xoar 13 x 6 10% Full syn. 10,050 2,000

Of course the possibility exists that I could convert a 125-A, (31.7mm bore) into a 126 by installing an FG 21 cylinder, (32mm bore). Nah.

I want you guys to know. I screwed up. when my mother's house was sold I didn't get much. but I gave $500 to the woman's shelter. where I screwed up was, because you guys have been so nice to me I should have put all your names on the money too. but I didn't think about that at the time, but that is how I feel about it today!!

as for the $500, I have seen what some men do to woman. and my daughter was bitten by one. this guy would have 2, 3 hidden girlfriends. he would live with a girl till the girl has had enough of him not paying his way. then he would leave her PG and move in with a hidden girlfriend. he'd do that over and over. he has 5 kids by 4 mothers. but at 31 karma got to his heart and made it stop solid! with all the rotten things I could say about him he did give me the 2 most wonderful granddaughters. and now my daughter-in-law is PG : ) I have never been more happy in my life!

Hello fellow Saito Heads. I have an issue. I bought parts from Adrian at CH to convert my mid manufacturer R5 to gas. Installing the Keleo ring revealed a exhaust spigot casting boss broken on one cylinder. OH CRAP! Hoping to find one nos or used to replace the failed jug. They are just GK 100 assembly's x5. Ideally a piston and jug would be the best.
if used parts are under one of your workbenches or boxes of part motors.
I am
willing to pay a fair price and pay for shipping. Can anybody help a fellow Saito nut out here?

When it comes to Saito cylinder honing, please don't, I have never seen one that needed anything but a swipe with a mechanics towel.

Dave can tell you about painting them black.
Are you certain they are 100 cylinders ? The FA-65 and FA-325R5 both share a 24.8 x 22.0 bore/stroke.
I have a new 325 radial cylinder on my FA-65 !
It is a dual plug version, yours if you need it.
I also have single plug .65 cylinder, not black but paintable.

Oh, it's honed at Saito. You're not seeing the forest for the trees. Put on your geezer googles and I think you'll see micro grit cross hatch scratches. They're as fine as frog hair.

Part of the trade for the last fifty years.
You may need to re-focus your own readers since I clearly referenced 45 Degree cross hatch.
Also very familiar with that pattern . We honed thousands of cylinders using our shop's two Sunnen CK-10 power hones . Darn near that many using manually stroked Sunnen hone that was hanging from a counter balanced cable, before we bought the first CK-10. Along with cylinder head rebuilding, crankshaft grinding etc. Not my trade, just a side business for near twenty years. Not certain how many pistons you have fitted but done my share and then some.
Along with a few toy engines too
