Welcome to Club SAITO !

Put a Cline regulator on it and you'll have consistent engine performance from full to empty and you will no longer need to run the engine 300 rpm rtich to avoid a lean run.
Thanks Hobbsy.
The Cline will stop the siphoning too? Hadn't really noticed any performance issues, but it's been a year since I ran it and even then only ran it 2 or 3 times so a little hard to remember.

Have a 1.50 inverted in a narrow cowled warbird and in order to make it fit I had to point the carb/manifold staight down towards the ground
so it is lower than the fuel tank.
Seems it's siphoning down and dripping. Is there any fix for this where I won't have to move either one? Really don't want
to cut the cowl and point the carb out the side and there's just no way to lower the tank any more than it already is.
Sincerely, Richard

Doing the assembly as kosher i can within reason. No rush. Wing and gear almost done. Is there a source for an off the shelf engine mount of some type? i need to come off the firewall 42mm with some type mount plate using standoffs maybe? Found some nylon spacers off the shelf at hardware store that might work. Broomhandle and a chopsaw you think? Need the best simple solution. Insights please.............. Thanks!

Thanks to all for the welcome flags over the few days. I am getting a Saito FA-100t/World arf Super Sport 90 project going (my first twin Cyl.) Have started a thread regarding this here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10492195/tm.htm

They sell aluminum spacers in just about every screw size clearance in a tremendous range of lengths. Here's a link to the ones I'm talking about. They sell spacers made out of many materials if you would rather not use aluminum

FA-50: Future power for a Telemaster 40.

Haven't been on the forums in a while, like the new avatar.Given up the bike for that??
Must say, looks like it'd be fun toolin' 'round on it!

Talked to support at Horizon. They had exactly the length i needed in a set of standoffs for 20 $ for a set of four. Thanks for the link though. Looks like a good source.

McMaster would have run you about $6-8

Here is a link to the Perry pump:

Would an OS 2 stroke pump work the same as the Cline?
Meaning does it also have a stop valve inside of it?
The OS 2 stroke pump does not have a regulator and neither does a Perry. The Perry's have a volume control but do not have a regulator even though Tower calls them a regulating pump.
The OS engines have a separate regulator adjacent to the carb

Some say the Cline won't flow enough fuel for a Saito 2.20 but both of mine will. The Cline is all about consistency from full tank to empty.

The Perry does have a regulator, I have seen them apart. That is the reason for the hole. The hole allows atmospheric pressure on the other side of the regulator diaphragm. So the pressure regulated is equal to the atmospheric pressure plus the spring pressure, the adjustment screw applies pressure against a spring adding spring pressure to the diaphragm. Because of this it regulates pressure above atmospheric pressure by the amount of pressure the spring applies. It is not a demand regulator but a positive pressure regulator, because of this it allows fuel to flow through.
Below is a cutaway of a typical industial pressure regulator valve. As you can see it has the same components as a Perry Regulaor valve, but the Perry has an extra diaphragm on the opposite end which is used to pump fuel.

Do any of you know how much horsepower a Saito 1.80 makes ?? Could not find it on the Horizon Hobby website...............

Thanks, Don
