Default Satio Golden Knight operating temperatures

Has anyone tried measuring if there is a difference in operating temperature between the powder coated (?) Saito Golden Knight engines and the uncoated ones?
In principle the powder coating should radiate heat better than the bare metal (emmisivity 0.75 - 0.90 for typical powder coatings compared to approx. 0.15 for oxidized aluminum). To some extent this is compensated for by heat having to be conducted through the powder coating, which is associated with a certain temperature drop. What the net effect will be I don't know, but it would be interesting to find out.

Default RE: Satio Golden Knight operating temperatures

In my operation of Golden Knight compared with regular Saitos, I couldn't tell any difference in temperature.

Enjoy,

Jim
