Hopping up a FS 120 Surpass III?
I have just purchased an OS FS 120 Surpass III for my DPM Clipped Cub. As I am the type of person that likes to go all the way, are there are after-market hop-up parts for it? ie: larger anodized carby?

I figured as much, I've seen aftermarket parts for other brands, but not OS.
As for YS, I went with OS because they have the best customer service in Australia out of all the manufacturers... and I also got it without spending any extra cash. I swapped a 2.5m scale Ventus sailplane for a new engine; which worked out very well for me.

The only hop-up(s) that you are left with with this engine is to begin burning 30% nitro glow fuel. You will see a considerable improvement in power. Just be sure to keep it tuned a bit on the rich side.
Also experiment with fitting the carb intake with a velocity stack and screen mesh over the end. This can also provide a bit more power without threatening the normally satisfactory length of engine life.
Yes, I know. Nitro is expensive in Oz. But you asked, so I had to answer. Good luck. <G>

Why would you want to hot it up? The last this a cub need is a hot engine!
Leave it as is and don't waste your time thinking about it.
