OS FS 91 engines
Can someone tell me the differences (advantages, design, performance, usages, etc) between the OS FS 91 Surpass with and without the "Pump" feature? There's $100 difference in the price. Thanks.

RE: OS FS 91 engines
I can't answer your question but have one for you or someone else.
I have an OS 91 Surpass without the pump and need to find the proper low-end setting for the carburetor.

RE: OS FS 91 engines
soddydoc,
The advantages of having a pumped engine are:
1.You can place the fuel tank anywhere you want and the engine will still draw fuel.
2. The engine can run inverted without having to worry about flooking or siphoning because of fuel tank placement
3.A consistent fuel flow whether the tank if full or near empty and no matter what the attitude of the airplane.
I'm sure there are more, these are the main ones that come to mind.
