dont know how old this engine is or anything, I thought K serious engines were more pattern plane style engines and X series were high performance...so what application is this engine thats labelled X .61 K, it's fire configuration and the instructions in italian rate it at 1.85hp @16,500..so I am gathering it's more pattern orientated than speed with such a low rpm figure..

can anyone shed some light on this particular engine

These engines have 150 degree open exhaust timing and 9mm carbs making them good for tuned pipes, turning 11-7 to 12-5 props at 14000-15000rpm. Lower rpm hurts fuel draw.
