Default Best Engine cleaning method?

Ok, I just tried something better.
I've been using Automotive antifreeze/coolant to clean up the engines. However, it took so much time.

So, I added a little bit of Preston Super Flush to the coolant that I've used to clean the engines.
Within 30 minutes, you can pull the part out of the pot and wipe off all those greasy stuffs that stuck on the parts.

I will post a few pictures soon.

Here is the muffler taken out from the solution and cleaned with water and a sponge. Assembled after cleaning. That was about 10 minutes ago.

William,
Yes, I only added about an ounce or so to about 6 oz of regular Prestone Antifreeze in a small 12 oz can. So I had to disassemble the parts. Carbon deposits can be removed just with a dishwashing sponge.
Here is another picture.

Looks like I didn't wait enough time for the cooking.
only about 20 ~ 30 minute without boiling the muffler are the pictures above.

I will have to put other parts a little bit longer.

Antifreeze in a crockpot works great. Be carefull, there is a low phosphate product that you want as it is intended for automotive aluminum engines rather than cast iron heads and blocks.

When you buy the stuff, be sure it is intended for aluminum..VW/Audi makes good stuff. If you use the mix intended for cast iron, it will turn your aluminum engine parts black.
