Default Adrian - RCU, Motorbike Accident

Two nights ago, Adrian Strydom, a really gifted R/C flier and a member of this forum, was involved in a road accident.
His motorcycle apparently skidded out from under him; throwing him at speed against a concrete bridge pillar, in Tel-Aviv, Israel, less than one kilometer from his home.

He is now hospitalized in ICU at the Sourasky (Ichilov) Tel-Aviv medical center; sedated and aspirated, after suffering heavy, multiple trauma.

He is still unconscious.

I visited him and spoke with my friend Jan, Adrian's father (who was doing most of the writing here), at his bedside.
His family is optimistic and hope everything will return to normal ASAP, but it will be a few more days, before the medical team revive him. He is intentionally being kept sedated, because it accelerates the recovery from this type of trauma.

Please join me in wishing Adrian a full and speedy recovery and all the best to his family.

Dar,
I Prayed for Your Friend. God can Heal anything thru Power of Holy Spirit. I Walk on Miracle Right Foot that 8 Dr wanted to Cut Off because I was hurt so Bad and they had No Idea How Put it Back together. It was Scattered in Hundreds of Pieces. The Holly Spirit Show Dr David Sitler how put it back together for 6 1/2 Hours. So when You Pray AND BELIEVE Miracles Still happen Daily around World. Your one of "The Chosen People" and Most Christians are just Grafted in Branches of Body of Christ. Jesus was a Jewish Rabbi and paid Price for Our Healing and Salvation. So I believe Your Friend Can Be Totally Healed. Just Believe and Trust God and Power of Holy Spirit!!! It's Wher Power of Prayer originates from. Remember 2 or More Pray and Bible says it Will Be Done IF BELIEVE with NO DOUBT!!! richgrow

EDIT-> I also ride motorcycles. I've been riding since I was 16. I'm now 57 without a serious accident. I've been blessed.

Dar,

Please pass on my best wishes, as a fellow motorcyclist, for his quick and complete recovery.

I do a lot of riding myself - mostly offroad/enduro. This sort of news hits pretty close to home.

Hi Guys,

I just spoke with Jan Strydom.

Jan has not left the hospital yet, so he could not yet see your prayers and your wishes for Adrian's wellbeing.

I told him what you had written and he asked that I thank you all graciously for him, for your support in this trouble time.

Adrian's condition has improved yesterday and hopefully, will improve more in the next few days.

I am bumping this thread up, so Jan could respond more easily.

He might be here today.

Barry,

I believe Jan Strydom might chime in later.

I just visited with Adrian and his family at the hospital; still in the ICU.
There is a good deal of work to be done on Adrian's injuries, before they try to bring him back.

I prefer to let Jan go in and give a formal update.

Let's all keep praying for Adrian's full recovery.

Hello Dar,

I hit a car head on while riding a motorcycle when I was just fifteen. They didn't think I would ever walk again (actually they weren't sure I would even live) but through faith and a number of miracles and much prayer I walk today and no one can even tell. I will be on my hands and knees and pray for your friend when I finish writing this. It's good to have friends and family beside you in times like this and even though he is being kept unconscious and sedated, he knows ya'll are there. I truly believe God still gives us miracles when we ask and I will pray for one now.

Take care,
Jez

Hi All,

Jan Strydom asked that I inform you that he will get on and reply as soon as he can.
Not enough spare time during the weekend.

He asked that I thank you all again.

Adrian managed to communicate verbally with those around him, when he was temporarily brought out of sedation for testing.
He is showing good cognitive signs.

Adrian is planned to undergo facial reconstructive surgery, today, that will take between 12 and 16 hours.

We are hoping for the best.
