Default Engine repair shops

Just got my engine OS 120 with pump back from Hobby services! They tell me that they dont have parts to fix the fuel system that my motor is to old about 20 years. They suggest I find a shop that can fix it. Does anyone know of such shops that do this work.

Thanks for any help CV

....I don't think there were ever any parts available from OS or anyplace else
for those pumps. If the pump went bad, you had to replace it. You can always
use an auxillary pump....or get a non-pumped carb and put on the engine, and
run it without a pump.

On some engines the "Pumper Carb" is really just a carb with a slightly larger venturi.
If you have a carb with a fuel return line to the tank you may simply be able to block it off.

Those OS pumps used to cost a fortune....back when you [b]could buy one. []

I have one of these on the bench. I think I can adapt a Walbro diaphragm to the OS pump. We are talking about the old 1.20 with the gear pump in the back plate. It's a little tricky but I think it will work. The material appears to be the same, though it's hard to tell by looking.

I have had good service on old OS FSR and SF series engines from B.J.’s Model Engine Service.
