I had a little fun this weekend
. It took no more than 1 hour to get the thing together. Top speed, 20-30mph depending on road conditions.

Now THAT'S the way to take boring and make it interesting. To further your break-in.....perhaps you could add a "tractor pull" event! Ha ha Well done. regards, Rich

That's a great idea Cambo!!!
I just wander why you rotated your cylinder head 90 degrees???
The head fins should go parallel with the crankshaft to avoid overheating...

It must be an aussie thing to use sawhorses for engine stands. My 82 dragged mine so i weighed it down with a floorjack on a chain. These guys are way in front of us and your sawhorse is a lot flasher than mine too!
I have an old hyper7 like cambos but the next engine i need to run in is a 220..any ideas??

There must be a dog running loose somewhere because i use a 3 metre dog chain to secure it to a tree or fence post whenever i test my engines.
I've run engines up to 1.40 2-strokes on my stand.

My sawhorse was so saturated with castor oil; I had to add a new top to it. Neighbors were not home so I gave the Enya a run with 10% Nitro and a MAS 12x6…

Hello that engine sounds like it's sweet and the putt putt sounds good too.Hope you save that old sawhorse top as it's a sin to waste good castor, you could almost smoke that stuff

Tell you what we aussies know how to improvise and a great way to spend the afternoon.Bet you my throttle linkage took less than the five minutes it took you to make yours
now all we need is a lazyboy chair and a sixpack of VB.Maybe some good castor wood to smoke and some beachbabes scattered around the place here and there.Anyone for some hired palm trees and a bit of ACKER DACKER rock music??
