OK what prop and fuels are your using with this engine? and what RPMs are you getting?
I was able to fix the bubble by replacing the needle value assembly with a new one. The orginial just unscrewed itself and fell off the plane on the first flight.
But it does nto seem to be making as much power as I expected.

I use an APC 15x7 and get about 9200 on 10%.
This is the most load the engine can take that I have found. With 15x8 the rpm drops to about 8300, and is very unreliable.
Assuming noise is not an issue like it is for me, I would suggest 14x6 to 14x8 or a 15x6 if you need loads of thrust.

I have 2 of these engines, I've not had the bubble trouble, these engines really perform. OS recomends only one prop for this engine, 13x8. They say this engine love to rev. I have one in a 60 Stinger and it really goes level and vertical. I tried 13x10's and the performance really fell. I have over 100 flights and the thing seems to get better and faster with each flight. Might try a 13x8, just a thought.

Thanks. I was using a APC 15X8. I agree it is too much prop for the engine. I had not read the OS recommended a 13X8.
But I just chnaged over to a Bolly Cluban 13.5X8 prop. The engine seems to like it better and I have more power. Switched from a OS F to OS A8 plug also.
But I am still having to run it real rich. It really leans out in vertical and almost dies in loops from no fuel. Must be having problem with the fuel tank, lines. etc that is affecting fuel supply.
