Default 90TS pipes and plumbing

Hi,

This is my first twin and the manual that comes with it is next to useless as there is little reference to this engine and what there is is not identifiable in the photos as they are washed out.

Sooooooooo.... firstly the included flexible pipes, one has a pressure tube on it. Does this need to go to a particular cylinder or can they go to either cylinder.

Secondly, the line from the tank is pretty obvious that it goes to the carb but there is a second nipple at the intake of the carb? what is this one for?
There is a further nipple on the side of the engine. What do i do with this one.

Sorry if this is straighforward but not for a beginner like me. The manual is a waste of trees Saito!

Regards
Steve

The second nipple is for priming, the one on the crankcase is the vent, put a piece of fuel line on it just long enough to get below the fuse. Pressure tap, either cylinder is fine.

The flex pipe are famous for cracking

I use the front pipes for the Saito 100Ti inline twin. They are just a black pipe that is angled back.

In the picture is my 60T with rear pipes from the 100Ti installed

Thanks Hobbsy

I like the idea of the straight pipes.

What do you mean by "Front" and "rear " pipes?

Do these provide a pressure nipple? Could one be fitted?

On the 100Ti the front pipe has a pressure nipple and is longer than the rear pipe which has no pressure nipple
