Also under the SC label in the UK also. Might be my imagination but think a little more care taken (QC) SC and ASP with these over the Magnums even thought the same except for the name tag martin

RE: Sanye Engines
G'day That engine looks just like the Rossi 15 I had about 1977 including the button type glow plug but without the distinctive Rossi "blasted" finish. All I have now is a couple of sick and dead glow plugs. It was a great engine though.

RE: Sanye Engines
I have seen .46 sized SY engines. They were of the 1st generation of Sanye engines in this size. I have not seen an SY in many years. They were never common here.
Now ... a question. Are the SH engines also made by Sanye? There is an Aussie distributor marketing SH branded engines.

RE: Sanye Engines
As far as I know, the SY is it.
I may be wrong but was thinking the SC (Super Custom) distributed by Perkins of UK was the first private label
Then came the ASP from Indy R/C
But ASP eventually became a world label after Indy R/C was bought by Horizon and eventually Horizon quit selling ASP but commissioned Evolution engines from Sanye
There are some Kyosho engines that are made by Sanye
The English sleeve valve engines (RCV?) are designed and commissioned from someone in the UK but are made by Sanye

RE: Sanye Engines
The folks at http://www.peakmodel.com sell what appear to be Sanye-branded engines:
The name of the engine cast into the crank case seems to be in Chinese, however, and there is no shot of the box it comes in.

"Next thing we should do is make them build RCU engines free to us all!"
So, we COULD have an RCU engine manufactured with our name (RCU) on it? How many for a production run and what cost then? [8D]
Regards,
Richard
