Inverted gas engine operation

Hi all
I am about to install a MVVS 2.10 gas engine in a scratch built 100" plane. The engine has an electronic ignition, and is planned for inverted operation to get maximum prop to ground clearance. In this configuration, the carburettor points straight down.
I have little experience with this set up in gas engines, and would like to ask some advise before I proceed.
TIA

Most gas engines are mounted inverted. No problems.

Inverted gas engine operation

I once had an inverted quadra, which tended to foul or flood the plug when it was a bit too wet. I had to remove the plug too often to my liking. Also, Electronic ignitions are a bit more sensitive to plug fouling than magnetos.
I must have done something wrong, but what?
