RE: How do you know when engine is happy with prop?
ORIGINAL: SeamusG OK, so I ''give it a go'. What am I looking for? When will I know when all is a best that it can be? A tach is useful at the bench - not the same as in the air. I can see / hear throttle response on the bench - not the same as in the air. How can I tell? "Give them a go" meaning fly them;) That`s the only way to find the "best" prop for your application. You will soon find your favourite prop after trying a few different ones |

Hi!
As W8ye said!;) Sensitive needle spread=too much prop! But...Remember that it isn't always that easy..."Needle spread" is also less If you run wrong fuel, too little nitro or too much, too high compression or too little, or too cold glow plug or too hot! |
