o s 91 4-stroke

I can't get the engine to start, not even "pop". It's broken-in and about 3 12oz tanks of fuel run thru it. Last time I changed props the thrust washer came off with the prop. The woodruff key also came off and I didn't notice it. After several attempts to start the engineI I realized the key was missing. Sent off for a new key and installed it. Now it won't start. I think I'm missing something here. Could there be a timing issue ? This is my first 4 stroke so I'm somewhat in the dark with trouble shooting.
Sure would appreciate any help sent my way.
The starting battery is good and I installed a new "F" glow plug. Fuel runs fine in my .46 ST.

Hi!
Have you checked that ¨the glow plug really works?
It should glow with a white orange shine!

Does fuel reach the carb??

What fuel do you use ?? At least 5% nitro is required!

13x8, 14x6 or 15x4 Prop should be used!

Mine likes to start fairly wet (with a good prime). If it ran prior to loosing the woodruff key and it isn't now and nothing was done to it inbetween then it sounds like glow plug or fuel.

I prime mine good and then with the glow plug ignitor connected, I turn over the prop (with a good hold on it so it doesn't pop on me) by hand until I get it to bump on the comp. stroke, then back it one turn and flip it backwards and it usually fires up. Sometimes it takes a bit of turning by hand to get it to bump.

glow plug is good, fuel is 10%, fuel comes out of muffler. I have been thinking about removing the valve cover and check there, but hesitate.

Hi!
If you haven't tampered with the cam timing before why think it has changed suddenly? -It cannot! The tappet gap is easy to check!
It should be between 0,04 -0,1mm or more precisely, a 0,04mm steel shim should pass under but a 0,1mm should not.
Are you sure the plug works? Have you checked that it glows? If the engine gets fuel, air and glow...it cannot say no to work!

Try another plug and glow ignighter first.
Is there much compression?

Hi!
Do you have an electric starter?
