2-cycle plug for a 4-cycle engine????
Does anyone know if a standard long glow plug will work in a Magnum 61 4-stroke?? I have plenty of 2-stoke plugs. My local LHS does not carry 4-stroke plugs (small town) and would have to order them. I was trying to get in the maiden flight this weekend being the weather is perfect. Thanks.

One of the Enya plugs will work. It's the hotter one. Cannot remember the exact #.

I think they work just not as well. They make the 4 plugs with heavy gauge stainless steel I think so they hold the heat better. If you use something else, keep your engine hot and don't idle.

Hi!
You should get an OS F plug! No other glowplug will perform as well as this plug! If you want to crash due to bad engine behaviour..... go ahead and try another plug. Ps! Enya 4strokes uses Enya 3 glowplugs ....so mabe an Enya 3 might work. Regrads! Jan K Sweden |

The OS F is very good, probably best; but, the Fox Miracle Plug works very well also and is much less expensive.

I have to second the Miracle Plug. I use them in all my motors, 2 or 4 stroke and have for years. I dont need to keep a lot of spares because I seldom need to replace one. I am sure the others are good plugs as well but the Fox plug is considerably cheaper.
