Cannot remove the carb on both MDS 2.18's???

I just got another new 2.18 and a new 1.48 in the mail today. Neither of the 2.18's appear to have removable carbs. Neither of the 2.18's will close all the way either. Anyone have one to compare to?

Rick....can you post a pic of the carbs....I don't have an MDS
and probably can't help....but I'm curious....:eek:

Aaaaarrrrrgghhhhhhh!!! I'm an idiot! It's a squish type fit. There's a screw that draws 2 beveled pieces together, squeezing the side of the carb. I thought there was only 2 pieces, but the 3rd, the smaller piece, by the head of the screw was jammed in there, holding the carb tight. I tapped it out from the other side, and the carb came right out.

One thing though, it only had a single O ring, but the smaller engines have 2?
