I have a Thunder Tiger 91 four stroke. I can't get it to run for more than a few minutes. The Choke plate is installed, the fuel tank and system are ok. Have been persistent and have got a gallon and 1/2 fuel through it but situation hasn't improved much. If I run it real rich where it doesn't produce much power, it will keep running. Lean a little and after a short time it like seizes up. Anyone have any suggestions before I send it in.

Sound like the low end might be lean so richening up the high end compensated for it but when you lean the high end up it leans out and the running will sag then die if I'm right, try to richen the low end up first 1/8 turn at a time then try setting the top end and keep richening up the low end until you get the rich end leaned out to good running rpm's This is my guess on this one.

How much power did you expect? Some have had the cam off by one tooth, this causes low power and problems with transition. Does it have good compression? Need more input to know what is going on.

Fuel type, plug type, prop type and size, and tach readings would be helpful.

Had the same problem. Switched to an OS plug and make sure you have back pressure from the muffler!
