OS Muffler help

Today my muffler on my 46 FX came apart for the 3rd time. I have tried Lock Tight, CA, Epoxy on the threads. But it keeps comming apart. what can i do?

OS Muffler help

There is a problem with different rates of expansion of aluminum and steel. You will have to put a piece of threaded rod all the way through it with double locktited nuts on each end. Then no more problem.

If you lost any of the pieces, you can buy a Tower 46 muffler for $12.99. It will bolt right on and give you a couple hundred RPM. But they come apart too. You have to put a bolt all the way through them too.
