TT Pro 46 Plug and BHP
Hi all..
Looking at buying the TT46 PRO for my new Blackhorse Travel Air. Looking at the TT website, why do the PRO's seem to product less BHP but more RPM than the GP series. Is RPM better in an engine in the air than BHP Also, what plug does the Pro 46 use - Hot?? Regards Declan |
RE: TT Pro 46 Plug and BHP
Hello!
They have messed it up.... the Thunder Tiger .40 PRO SE (and .46 PRO SE) is more powerfull ( hp) than the .42 GP engines. The PRO SE series engines have ball bearings and larger carb intake and different porting .....most of the time this means more power. The GP series of engines has a plain bearinged crankshaft, smaller carb intake and not so radical exhaust timing and porting compared to the PRO SE series. Regards! Jan K Sweden |

Jaka's right-it's a misprint...
Also, TT's like a medium heat plug |
