SC 25 ABC aero engine

I have an SC 25 and have a problem, no matter what I do with the transmitter or throttle barrell the engine will not stop. The engine will keep on running and not quit at all. I have checked the carberetter and all is well no air gets in when the throttle barrell is closed, but from somewhere the engine gets air to keep the engine running and will not stop. The engine will idle for a long time. the only way to stop the engine is to cover the exhaust.
