Assembly Lube

Hi;I am rebuilding a K&B .61 and a ST. 51 and before I put them back together what kind of assembly lube should I put on bearing surfaces and the ring/ sleeve so that thay will not have a dry start? Thanks........Veco

Veco:

A 50/50 mix of ATF and castor oil works fine, or you can also use straight Automatic Transmission Fluid if the engine is going to sit for a while.
