I use the K&B 1L.

RE: Moki 2.10
I use an OS type F. Works better for inverted mounted engines, oil build up on the glow plug. Mine is not inverted but I heard it was a good plug so I'm running that with no problems.
I heard the K&B is perfect for upright or side mounted engines. The above is pretty much right out of the manual. |

I read an old thread on the H9 Edge540 this morning. I think I recall you having a Moki 1.80, or a Moki 2.10 in one of these planes. If so, would you please recomend one or the other for the Edge. I know, for example, that the 2.10 is only 5 oz heavier than the 1.80. I'm interested in doing IMAC and freestyle/3D. I just bought a used 540, and am saving for an engine. Thanks for your help. |

RE: Moki 2.10
Joe, thanks a lot for the advice. I just returned to the hobby after 20 yrs away. Presently have a Funtana 40,a EF Mini3D, a FF Taco, and a Twist 3D. This 3D really cranks my tractor. I used to fly pattern back in the 70's, so am proficient at throttle mgt.
I think I'll go with the Moki 2.10. I hate to go with a smaller engine, then wish for more power..Again, thanks for your input. Do you know where to get the CF landing gear for this bird? |
