Saito 72 rpm figures
 

I was wondering if anyone had rpm figures for a saito 72. I have been running it with 30% heli fuel with a 12x8 and am getting around 10500 rpm before I richen it up a tad. I would also like to try a 13x6 and was wondering what to expect with it. Any info would be appreciated! :cool:

10,500 with a grapner 12.5 x 5
9850 with a apc 13 x 6
low time 72, getting better with more flights and better tuning

On Wildcat 15% I've had four that averaged 9,800 on a MA 12 x 8 and 10,200 on a MA 13 x 6. The best one does 10,400+ and the weakest is 10,050+
- All there numbers are 200 RPM to the rich side of max.

10200 on 15% 13/6 APC, 10800 on 30% 13/6 APC. Also 200 rpm rich side of max.

I have 2 saito 72's. I use 15% cool power, and after break in I am getting 10,500 w/a 13/6 prop,(wood). W/a 12/8 I was getting 11000, which is too much for this 4 stroke.

I fly mine at 10,000 rpm with a 13x6 apc and 15% coolpower.
