Leo 25 question

Greetings Engine Experts!

I recently procured an older Leo 25 off of ebay for 28 Euros (37 bucks).

After a brief clean-up, I got the engine started using a 9x4 prop and the glow plug it came with... an OS A5.

I've looked on the internet for info about this engine - even the Leo site (http://www.leoengines.com) doesn't indicate the recommended glow plug or props.

The OS A5 plug started the engine a couple times but then I had a bit of a problem with it so I swapped it out with an Enya no.3. Seems to run fine.

Question: Any idea what would be the best glow plug/prop for this engine?

Thanks in advance,
Zipperneck (neub)

RE: Leo 25 question

Leo's are generally copies of the OS line .That said if it's old enough it's a copy of the OS25FSR or the OS25SX. There should be nothing unusual about these motors in their selection of plugs. If however you are using an FAI blend with no nitro then I've always favored the Enya #3 plug or any HOT rated plug. Some of the earlier Leos had some carb qualuty problems that gave you fits trying to find the leaks.
You might try Just Engines for any parts or further help. They have a WEB site and a Google search will find them.
Dennis
