Perry Oscillating Pump
 

helo. poeple I want your advice. I never used pump, but now I'm going to use one. is Perry Oscillating Pump any good? I don't wont from pump to work 5 hours and then die. I want reliable pump. want to install it on magnum 91 4stoke.
and does this pump need additional battery pack? or how does it work?

Basically it works off the vibrations from the engine.
No battery needed.
I mounted mine to the back plate of the engine.
Worked just fine, I used it for about two yrs on
an OS 91 Surpass.

It is operated mostly from tortional impulses that result from the engine being accelerated backwards slightly on the combustion stroke and forward slightly on the compression stroke. Many engines get accused of being vibrators when in fact it is simply tortional impulses caused by large power pulses and light engine weight.

here is another alternative to the pump and it is a "on demand regulator" and it works off the muffler pressure. with this you can mount your tank anywhere on the plane and it also eliminates flooding. i have used one for 5 months and have not had a deadstick. it also makes your needle valves less sensitive and allows easier tuning.just something else to consider.[sm=thumbup.gif]

I think it's good one, but little expencive for me. ;)
