Muffler direction

Gentleman, I have mounted an os.70 in a venus40. The engine is mounted inverted. Should the exhaust outlet on the muffler be pointed to the ground or is it o.k. to be angled upward?

Muffler direction

You can put it any way you like and the engine will still run OK. however, it would be best to angle it down ever so slightly so if any fuel gets in it from the tank, it will drain to the ground instead of into your engine.

Don't point the muffler down very much. Just a little bit.
