ASP engine Distributor?
 

I am looking for a USA distributor for ASP engines. Could anyone tell me if there is one and who it might be.

So far as I know, Hobby People has the exclusive contract with SY Machinery for the USA. The ASP engines are relabled "Magnum" for sale here.

SY Machinery makes the ASP and Magnum engines, as well as RCV and others.

Here is a source for ASP engines. I know nothing about them.

So a Magnum is an ASP with nothing more than a name change? And the Brits outsource production of the RCV engines to China? Egad.

Excel Hobby has a unlisted phone number but by the prefix and area code, they are in Huntington, NY out on the North Central Part of Long Island near Egg Harbor. Sounds like a Mommason + Poppason basement operation to me?

Also, looking at inventory and prices, this site is not updated. It's unlikely that this is a valid indication of their ability to serve our hobby needs? Most of the the ASP engines listed are no longer in production. The newest indication of any date is Feb 2004. But there are many inconsistances such as they have online ordering? No! There's just some icons that dead end.
