Muffler for Evolution 1.00
 

Like many others (who have posted Evo .61 Muffler problems)... My 1.0 is also having a muffler issue. I love the engine - It pulls my 70" Tiger straight up out of sight... but the bolt that goes through the muffler is very soft metal and is beginning to strip.
I JB welded the back half of the muffler for now - but I'd rather simply replace the muffler with one that I don't have to screw with.

I've seen several posts about a Tower Muffler that fits the .61 Evo... but the 1.00 threads THROUGH the muffler and INTO the engine.
It gives a clean look (No mounting holes visible on the engine)... but man - what a ***** to get the muffler on/off. The muffler only gives a few cm of clearance for the bolts.

Anyway - has anyone found a muffler for an Evo 1.0?
Please don't respond if your little brothers, cousins, buddy heard of someone that replaced the motor.

I'm looking for 1st hand info from someone who actually replaced the muffler on their Evo 1.0
