Prop drilling

Where can I buy props for or have them drilled for my Moki 210 engines? It's a real PAIN to fit props on these things, if they weren't such good engines I'd get rid of them.

Give us more information, otherwise you get answers only from those familier with the Moki 210.

What is it you need?

Spinner

In order to mount a spinner on a Moki 1.80 or 2.10, the prop must be drilled out to fit the spinner adaptor which has a larger diameter than the prop shaft.
I have the reamers from B&B but the hole still comes out too small and it's a real bit-h to clamp a prop to my drill press table.

Wait a mineut, just had a brain fart, figured out how to clamp a prop to the table without c-clamps. Any other ideas on this subject would help, thanks.

Prop drilling

I dont' have a drill press so I do it with a hand held drill. However, I don't just do it in one step, I go up one drill bit size at a time, presumably this will keep my hole centered since the drill bits tapered point is somewhat self-centering. So far, it has worked great. I'm just glad I don't have any of those gas engines that have 8 or 10 bolts to hold the prop. Those guys probably spend more time building and mounting their prop than I do some of my planes ;)
