os 46 la Difference between Control line and RC

I just received a new os .46la -s engine. Not exactly what I was hoping for, however I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth. This was supposed to replace an os.40 la on my Avistar. Question is: Can I take the carb from my OS .40 and use it to replace the venturi that came with the .46la -s control line engine?
It looks like a match, however I haven't removed anything yet. Any OS experts out there ?
Thanks

You certainly can! Just a simple swap of the venturi insert and the rc carb.

I'll give that a try. I think this will work!

It should work fine. They are the same engines, just diferent carbs.

I have heard that the boost port is blocked off on the LA-S series. But it may be blocked off on all of them.

If you would like a top notch R/C engine,I'll trade an excellent Super Tigre 45 ABC for your unaltered LA-S 46.
That LA 46 has one of the best C/L stunt runs from the factory I've ever seen.
If you are interested,let's talk.
