There doesn't seem to be a nylon engine mount that fits the YS 63. What are people using?

Save some weight from the GP mount and use a Dave Brown. They list one for the 63.

Good timing - I was just looking at the Dave Brown site. I didn't see one that specifically mentions the .63, but based on the dimensions it looks like either their part #5060-5060 or 60FS-6004 will work.

I have a YS91 but when I bought mine I noticed that they do have one for the YS63. I pasted this from their web page below. You will save almost 2 ounces switching from a GP to the DB.

The YS 63 is only 1.375" wide where the crank fits between the beams. There doesn't appear to be a Dave Brown mount that's right for the YS 63. The 4650 and 5060 mounts are too short. The larger mounts have too much space between the beams, which doesn't allow room for the mounting holes.

The closest fit is the 404L, but is is about .060 too narrow between the beams. The YS has flat areas on the sides of the crankcase where it fits between the beams, so you can't just bevel the corner of the beams a little bit. It would require quite a bit of material removal to fit the engine on this mount, but is probably an option.

I know most guys don't want to spend the money, but I just ordered a Hyde soft mount for my YS 63. They have one made special for the YS 63.
