YS 1.40L missing at full throttle

After one perfect flight yesterday my YS 1.40L started missing at full throttle. I checked the fuel tubing and tank for leaks but found none. I also replaced the plug which did nothing.
It was unusually hot here in the Seattle yesterday, in the upper 90's. Any thoughts before I pull it and send it in?

It might be running too lean or overheating.

Overheating sounds plausible. I did richen the needle but got the same thing. It's so rare for it to be "HOT HOT" up here I didn't even consider that.
