Inverting an inverted engine

If the construction calls for a inverted engine and the mount holes are already drilled w/blindnuts is it ok to rotate the mount so as to install the engine upright? Would I have to change the location of the fuel tank? I know there is something about centerline of tank and engine carb. The plane in question is the Tower Voyager MK II. It will be my first low wing venture.
Thank for any help

RE: Inverting an inverted engine

This is just the opposite to the usual question so yes, you'd have to raise the tank so it's centreline is at (or very close) to the centre of the carb barrel. The carb barrel is usually somewhere near an inch above the engine mounts so rotating the engine (up or down) by 180 degrees means about a 2 inch difference in height.
