I have no experience with the gassers but from talking to others the MVVS 1.6 is suposively a very nice motor. I think its 300$ with muffler, and they just improved it from the old one with a few changes. I do know a guy flying a 1/4 H9 edge 540 with the mvvs 1.6 gasser and loves it, unlimited power for that plane.

Although it isnt a gas, the Moki 2.1 is a good one. A club member has one on his 1/3 scale Pitts, and it is GREAT. It sounds almost like a gas engine too. I've held down the plane for him while he starts it, and it starts on the first flip, and pulls like you wouldnt believe.
