brisson 3.2 vs. rcs180
I'm new to the gasser engines and i was wondering how a brisson 3.2 compares with a rcs180. I know the 180 is smaller I have to planes I'm looking at and these are my choices. They are edge 540 planes and i am wondering which is the better motor, any thoughts would be appreciated,

Andy,
There is a huge difference here. The Brison is almost twice the size and a lot more powerful. If you are looking at an Edge 540, go with the bigger plane & motor. The cut off point for a Gas powered aerobat is around the 40 cc size (BME 44, Taurus 2.8, ZDZ 40) to have good power to weight without adversely affecting wing loading. The Aeroworks Edge 540 29% might be the best "small" gas powered Edge 540 out right now, and the Brison 3.2 will makes this 14 lb plane dance. |
