tower mufflers
 

Someone told me that the tower 46 muffler improves the performance of the TT Pro 46 (which I have several of). Is the improvement, if any, really worthwhile, or am I just finding a way to spend more money.

Some engines have been known to gain over 1,000 rpm. I think that's worth $15.00 USD or so.

They will make an RPM improvement and also will be louder and add a cackle to the exhaust note. They are worth the $15..............

I've used them on the OS 46FX and MDS 48. A friend has some on his evolution engines

Definetly a good investment. The TTpro engines run much stronger with the tower muffler.

I even put a Tower muffler on an OS 46LA. [X(] I had to drill the holes in the case out just a tiny bit because the bolt pattern is off by about 2mm.

I've never heard an LA scream like that before. [sm=lol.gif]

I have three TT46s and two of them sport Tower mufflers.
The Tower muffler typically will get you about 600 RPM over the
stock muffler. The noise level will increase as will the fuel consumption.

I find the Tower equipped TT46 is a real speedster swinging an APC 10 X 7.
