Or should I say will my engines, be helped on a pipe.....
I have a shrike 40 and plan to refit it with a piped engine, I have a

O.S. LA .46 I heard LA's are not timmed for a pipe.
Magnum XLS .46 BB
ENYA SS40 BB
What is the timming I'm looking for later ex. close?


If anyone has any info on this .......Thanks

Either the Enya or Magnum will fly fine on a pipe....

Hi!
Any modern twostroke engine will benefit from a pipe.....it's more a question of how much the improvement will be!
You will see an improvement even on your OS LA engine!

An engine with aggressive timing with benefit most from a tuned pipe. However, any engine will get some gains from a tuned pipe. Not as much as others but every engine will gain something. For an engine like the LA it's just not economical to pursue.
