Excuse the question
Long time ago, I used to see my uncles playing around with Cox engine. I never seen any since in the shops anymore, is there a reason for that? |

I'm not sure, but I think Cox was bought by Estes (the model rocket makers) Don't know details, but you might get a better answer over on the 1/8 to 1/2A forum. There are people there who know lots about Cox and the other smaller stuff...

In a nutshell, Estes cheapened the product, sold off most of the equipment and subcontracted most everything else.
Also The Norvel line of engines has proven itself to be a better product for far less then the highly exploited price of a Cox product, so there really is no comparison on what to buy. Norvel ! |
