Engine Set Up?
Maybe I'm just a little slow, but the instructions included with my engine, A TT.61, didn't have any info on the order of wich things are placed on the shaft. What is the order that things go on? Is it the spinner backplate, then prop then washer then nut? If anyone could post a photo of their engine without the cowl that would be a big help.
thanks, Darren |

Darren:
You got it right, spinner backplate, prop, washer & nut. Gil |

Thanks, now my next question is this. The shaft on my engine is slightly larger than the hole on my spinner back plate and prop, do I just drill them out to fit?

Yes indeed, drill it to fit.

Hi!
Drill a spinnerbackplate could ofcourse be done but better is to use a lathe or a reamer so the the hole is corectly centered..I asume you are going to use Tru Turn aluminum spinner?!...If it is a plastic spinner.... Forget it and use a aluminum spinner nut instead. Much better than a cheap "wobbly" plastic spinner. Regards! Jan K Sweden |
