4 blade prop

Here is a conversion chart to convert from a 2-blade prop to a 4-blade prop: http://www.zingerpropeller.com/_2_blade_.htm

You can order a 4-blade prop from Zinger.

4 blade prop

that's right, that 4 or 5 mph that you will lose, using a 4-blade over a 2-blade is sure gonna hurt you! i hear this argument all the time. give me a break! if i start listening to all the crap about efficency,or lack there of in multi-blade props,i might have to go home and pull the 4-blade off my .o.s. .46 powered GP spitfire.lordy, the thing only flies at 100+now,that extra 4-5 mph sure would come in handy! just my 2 cents.

prop

This 1.20 is going on my TF P-51 7th scale. I thought it would look better having a 4 blade prop. Another question is how scale would the right prop look?

4 blade prop

The right size prop will not look scale. You are looking at a 14x6 or a 14x7 four-blade prop on a 1/7th scale Mustang. The prop will look too small. This prop will look OK on a .40 size Mustang but not on a 60 size Mustang. If you want to swing a scale 4-blade prop, use either the RCV 90 or the RCV 120 four stroke.

4 blade APC available

I bought a 4 blade APC prop a while back - have never mounted it though. Bought it as a bit of a novelty as it's one cool looking prop and I will eventually use it. It's I believe an 11 X 8 intended for .90 4 strokes (or strong 60 2 strokes) and has very thin narrow chord blades. It looks pretty darned efficient to me!

Four Blade

JRCoone,

That is the exact purpose of a display prop.

You can have a scale size, four-blade display prop.
Just don't go flying with it.

Use a correctly sized, efficient flight prop.

Sincerely,
