Does anyone recognize this engine?
1 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I bought this engine on the weekend at a swap meet. It has no markings other than "Made In China" and I was told it was a .61 glow engine. See pictures below. Thanks for your help. Fly4Fun, Wayne Miller |

GMS 61

RE: Does anyone recognize this engine?
It looks like a "VMax" (or similar name) marketed by VMar. We had one at our field. A reliable but not very powerful unit.

RE: Does anyone recognize this engine?
Hi,
Thanks for your help. I did a search and was able to find the engine, with pictures, at Richmond Hill hobies, from there I found the manual. It is a VMAX. Althougth I can't find the hp or RPM (which I'd like to have), they do give dimensions and prop sizes. From the dimensions I was able to confirm it is a .61. Thanks for your help. Those HP@rpm figures are meaningless anyway
