Replace both bearings while you have it apart

RC-Bearings.com

They are very good to deal with. Good customer support but the best thing is their prices are hard to beat.

If you can read or measure the bearings, there are a number of sources, ranging frome realliy enexpensive to outragouis expensive and the price doesn't indicat anything about the quality. I just picked up bearings for a Saito 91, one bearing each from two sellers on Ebay and I couldn't be happier with the price and service. Ihad purchased from one of the other sources listed above and was not happy with the fit. I'm waithing to hear from them, so no names for now. My bearing set ended up costing under $8.00 delivered. Someone like Graingers will sell you a like set for about $30 a bearing. If you are ordering from Ebay, make sure that they list a manufactures name.

PP, check and see if your engine is a .46, if so that is a powerful engine for tis size

RE: ENGINE BEARINGS

The rear bearings are almost always "Metric". The front bearings are sometimes "inch" bearings

The Fox .40 uses an open R6 (Imperial size) .375x.875x.218" front bearing.
The rear is an R8 (also Imperial) .5x1.125x.25" bearing.

No metric bearing in this engine...

If you live in a metropolitan area, you can just go to a supply house and pick up some... I did that for my ancient OS 46 SF-ABC, paid next to nothing, they fit perfectly, and had them instantly.

Edit: just checked the popular web site selling bearings, and holy cow... $30? I'd have to check to be sure, but I think I paid a fraction of that for my replacements at the local supply house... maybe they aren't equal, but thy seem to work.
