Baffle(d)
What are the pro's and cons with baffle removal from a standard silencer. I've got an OS 50SX in an Extra 300L. Would noise exceed 82db??

I have removed mine with no problems. Try it in place and removed. Sometimes it is better to leave it in place for more tank pressure. This is a great engine right out of the box ! Doug |

The OS .46FX OE 783 muffler is restrictive enough to provide ample fuel pressure, without the aid of the baffle. As to noise; it is quieter than most other engine, even without the baffle, but I don't know if it will pass the 83 decibel test... |
