os 160 pumped engine needle setting
 

ok guys , need some help , i have a new os 160 pumped that someone had in a plane and it dead sticked on them, tore the gear out and they sold me the plane at a huge savings, now i want to set up the engine , get the needles back to the factory setting, mabe add larger fuel line, the problem is the engine is set up smoking rich, then when tring to idle it dies, the transition stutters, then dies, if i lean out the needle it runs fine level but once you raise the nose it dies, like its lean, running 15% with a 18=6 apc, sure could use some help on this one thanks

You might be able to get the manual from

It will at least tell you how to get to the original settings. They will not be perfect but should be a decent starting point.

This might help you out. The OS 160 Cookbook. I've been looking at one of these big 2-Strokes as well.
